A meditation half-day course

suitable for everyone

with Gen Kelsang Dema

Everyone believes that if we do something kind, good results will come. Equally we believe that if we do something harmful, then bad results will come. No one would disagree with this.

However, when we are suffering, if we ask ourself why we’re suffering, we don’t readily come to the conclusion that it’s because we made someone else suffer in the past.

By gaining stronger conviction in the law of karma, or cause and effect, we will discover that we can create a happier future for ourself by performing beneficial actions and less suffering by refraining from harmful actions. Since all actions start in the mind, if we gradually learn to control our mind by stopping harmful intentions and increasing beneficial intentions, we will gradually find ourself experiencing less and less suffering and more and more happiness.

Everyone welcome to this half day course, both beginners to meditation and those with some experience.
