From time to time, a residential room becomes available at Samudra Buddhist Centre. Living at the Centre offers a quiet, inspiring lifestyle in the heart of the historic spa town of Buxton, just moments away from beautiful Peak District walks.
We maintain a peaceful, harmonious household built on shared spiritual values.
What We Offer & Household Expectations

Living Environment: Quiet, meditative, non-smoking, alcohol-free, and vegetarian.

Shared Amenities: Shared kitchen and shower room (shared with just one other person), cozy communal lounge area, and laundry facilities (washing machine, dryer, and outdoor drying space).

Location: Central Buxton with easy access to countryside walks, transport links, and town amenities.

Full Centre Access: Living here gives you daily immersion in community life and full participation in our classes.
Rent & Pricing Details

Monthly Rent: £425 / month

All Bills Included: Covers heating, electricity, water, Wi-Fi, and Council Tax.

Study & Class Pass Included: Rent includes the Centre's £35/month Education Facility Pass, granting you access to all our regular weekly classes, day courses, and retreats.

Deposit: 4 weeks’ rent (£425).
